About NEWT

New England Water-resistant Technologies LLC (NEWT) was founded by Erik Woodin, RRC, in 2021 as a vehicle to more efficiently deliver value to the building envelope analysis, construction, and restoration process and to engage exciting challenges in the industry.

NEWT’s vision is to apply our unique combination of experience, education, technical acumen, and creativity to each project to help the team assess, construct, and restore more durable and high performing building envelope systems within the confines of the available budget, materials, and time.

We have more than a decade of experience providing specialized consulting services within the construction industry, eight of which have been invested in building envelope testing, inspection, investigation, design, and construction oversight. Our breadth of building envelope experience includes both new and restoration construction, private and public work, and union and non-union projects.

NEWT provides our clients with consulting and project management services through all stages of their building envelope projects, from investigation and design through construction and operation. Our fair, firm, and friendly approach to executing our services has been critical to the success of many building envelope projects.
